"I wish that Eddy Burton was...I dunno...a little girl or something."
Upon hearing those words coming from Stacey's mouth, your bedroom is flooded with a blinding light. As you lose your vision, you begin to feel as if your entire body is transforming. You feel yourself shrink in size as your hair grows in length.
Finally the light begins to fade. What seemed that several minutes was only a mere 3 seconds in the real world. As you start to regain your sight, you feel completely transformed. You're surprised that, while you remain seated on your bed, your feet cannot reach the floor below. But as you look down on your feet, you notice that your bare feet are not as you remembered. They look to be the feet of somebody else. Somebody much smaller than yourself. Your eyes loom over a new set of clothes on your body. You are disgusted by the sight of pink pajamas with a picture of a unicorn on the top.
Suddenly you hear a familiar voice echo over your head. "Eddy, is that you?" It was the voice of Stacey, but she seems slightly different to you. But as you face towards her, you are shocked by the fact that you are now looking up just to look into the eyes of your girlfriend. "Eddy?"
Stacey's face tells the story. She made a wish, and it came true. She quickly realizes the same thing, and to your discomfort, you see her glistening teeth shine as she develops a sinister smile.
Stacey begins to laugh. "Oh my god! Eddy! These Rainbow Drops really work! You look like a little girl! Just like what I wished for!"
Still in denial about your current predicament, you jump off your bed, slightly rocked by the distance from the floor, and begin screaming in anger. "What the Hell did you do to me!?" You quickly cover your lips with your tiny hands, feeling distraught about the sound of your new high-pitched, girly voice. "Change me back now!"
Stacey continues to laugh, ignoring your pleads to change you back to normal. "Oh my god Eddy! You're so cute! I could just eat you up! Your so lovely like that!"
"Please Stacey! Listen to me! Change me back! I don't want to be a little girl!"
"But you're so cute this way. You know, I might keep you like this."
"You can't!" Tears begin to trickle from your eyes down your cheeks. "Just change me back, please Stacey, I'm begging you!"
Holding the bag of Rainbow Drops in her hand, keeping them out of your reach, Stacey ponders to herself. "Give me a minute, I'll think about it."
You sigh as you wipe the tears from face. You turn your head and notice a mirror hanging on your bedroom wall. You look only to see a little girl, no older than 5 years of age, looking back at you. Blonde, long hair and blue eyes, staring right back at you. The sight of your reflection was shocking at best, but the fact that Stacey, the girl that you considered to be your girlfriend, is actually considering leaving you like this. You're just fortunate that it was Stacey who made the wish, and not a family member. You're just lucky that none of your sisters hasn't seen you like this.
"Okay, I'll tell you what I'm going to do." Stacey calms herself down, wiping the tears of laughter from her eyes.
But before Stacey can continue, there is a knock on your bedroom door. You freeze in terror as the door begins to open. The creaks of the door resembles more of a gong symbolizing that the end is near. Stacey leaps off the bed and pushes you behind her, as if she was hiding you. A shiver runs down your spine as you realize that you are no more taller than Stacey's leg alone.
Things look to get from bad to worse as a figure creeps through the door.
But who enters the room to see you in this vulnerable form? indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
