As time passed, the two young Pokemon began to arrive at their destination. The delicious aroma of ripe berries from the massive garden filled the air before the school even came in to view, urging the two to move quicker. Needless to say it did not take long for the two starving Pokemon to arrive at the back entrance of the garden. The rich smell of berries was intense now as they made their way into the maze of colors and fragrances. Both Rose's and Emma's eyes seemed to twinkle as they eyed the berries, it did not even accrue to them that the size of the berry bushes were abnormally large until after they attempted to reach for a low hanging citris berry with no success in actually touching them.
Disappoint hit home like a ton of bricks. "This bites..." Rose's voice trailed off, kicking at the relatively soft dirt in frustration. "I hate being a runt." Rose never noticed until seeing the other eevee's around school, but she was small for an eevee, even the other female eevee's around the school had at least an inch on her if not more. It does not really matter anyway, even if she was four inches taller, she would still be a little short from reaching the berries. "If only I weren't so damn tired, I could easily jump up and grab one." She muttered to her self as she watched Emma desperately trying to jump up to reach the berry. "She never was the best jumper in the world." Rose said under her breath with a slight grin as she watched the silly poochyena trying so hard only to fail. At one point Emma almost had the berry, unfortunately the slick Rhine of the berry proofed effective in resisting the grip of her teeth. "Come on Emma, I think we should call it quits for..." Rose's voice trailed, her ear twitching. "Did you hear that Emma?"
Emma sat on her hind legs panting, tired and exhausted from her attempt to snag them a snack. "I think *pant* your hearing *pant* things Rose."
"Shh... their it is again... you hear it...?
"I think you've finally lost it Rose, now come give me a boost I think I might be able to reach it if I stand on top of you." Emma spoke as she rose up on her hind legs, extending her front paws as if judging how many more inches she had to go. "Come on Rose! I really think I might have a chance at get..."
Rose ears twitched again, and judging by Emma's reaction, she heard it too. "I told you I heard something!" Rose said nervously. She could since Emma's nervousness.
"Maybe it was j...just the wind...Ya thats it, just the...
"It's never just the wind here." A serious, yet almost kind voice spoke before Emma.
"W...what the hell!? Who's..." Emma was cut short when an explosion of colorful petals erupted form the foliage in front of her, swirling around her at such a high speed that the idea of trying run through it began to seem crazy. As seconds pass, Emma felt dizziness from the rapid flashes of colors dancing around her in a hypnotic trance. Heaviness of the body began to set in and soon her legs began to buckle, her weight threatening to bring her down, but not before her attacker broke through the whirling petals to pounce.
........................
"Emma!" Rose screamed, much to afraid to move in for an attack on a target she could not see. She must wait for an opportune moment to strike, when the attacker rears it's self. Fortunately the young eevee did not have to wait long before seeing the poochyena bust out of the side of the small cyclone in a flurry of stray petals that broke away from the funnel winds with her. Unfortunately Emma, disoriented and in shock from the attack, landed flat on her back, not given any time to recover before her attacker came in right behind the pup, pinning her to the ground. The cyclone wind rapidly expanded across the garden, covering the attacker once more. Rose quickly turned her head and body to brace the on coming floral storm, but felt nothing more than a slight gust along with the gentle touch of flower petals against her fur.
Rose looked back in awe. The garden air was filled with light colored petals that twisted in turned gracefully as they fell from the sky, no longer trapped in a stream of winds. Rose's noise twitched as the sweet aroma of flowers filled the air, its calming essence almost making her forget that her friend was in danger.
"Emma!" Rose shouted hoping to get an answer back, but when their was no reply she charged through the falling petals towards the attacker, and as she got closer, a feeling of disbelief washed over her. On top of Emma stood a leafeon, it's paws pinning the pooch tightly down on the ground to prevent any chance of escape. Rose's pace did not slow though and she continued to charge head on into the attacker, not caring that it was one of her kind, but just before she came into contact with the leafeon she felt the tight grip of vines wrap tightly around her waist and hoist her helpless form into the air.
Rose's heart dropped as the leafeon looked into her eyes with a calm smile on her face that could send an unnerving felling down anyone's spine under theses circumstances.
I already know that a leafeon can't legitly use petal dance or vine whip
