Alice goes to the nearby supermarket

Alice leaves the house with her wallet and makes her way to the nearby supermarket around the corner. She uses the time to think about the current situation and what to do.
„What do we do, when she grows again? Will she outgrow the house? Will she be the same gentle girl I remember or will she develop some kind of god complex“, Alice played through all possible scenarios in her head. After a five minute walk she arrives and enters the supermarket. It’s under the week and not many people go here at the time so it is pretty easy for Alice to get a lot of different food. But when she goes to the cash register a tall man bumps into her so hard, that she loses balance and all the groceries fall on to the floor.
„Sorry cutie, didn’t see ya there“, the man says and laughs at his own joke.
Alice thinks about doing something, but realizes that she doesn’t stand any chance against a man like him. He is not only taller than her, but also has very defined muscles. She with her 5 feet is nothing against a beast like him.
„Maybe it’s time to learn a martial art like aikido or judo“, Alice murmures to herself. But right she has to focus on a literally bigger problem then some bullies. She pays for the groceries and returns to the house. She finds her girlfriend laying down in the living room. Luckily it seems like she didn’t have another growth spurt while Alice was gone.
