It has been years since the events of Hexxus in Ferngully, and science and technology have become more advanced. Zak Young agreed to be the first test subject for a prototype shrinking belt. He had decided to test it out in the very spot in the forest that he had met Crysta. Zak couldn’t wait to see his fairy friends and set the belt buckle to 3 inches tall.
However, since it was a prototype, it wasn’t thoroughly tested. After Zak had shrunk himself, the belt buckle malfunctioned. “This can’t be good.”
What happens?
1 Zak is stuck at the size of a fairy
2 Zak is proportionally as tiny to the fairies as the fairies are to humans
3 Zak is half Crysta's height, making him relatively child-sized
4 The magic of the rainforest caused the malfunction, leading to all sorts of wacky hijinx
