Connie was at Steven's house, she had to stay with him for a few days since the gems (lapis, peridot and jasper) were on a mission and her father was investigating a case in another city.
Peridot had left him some instructions to follow his training, he is currently learning to change shapes like Amethyst does, however he still has a hard time.
She herself is now lying on Steven's bed with her side reading the instructions.
"It looks like it's something quite complicated, right?" Steven said looking at Connie.
"Yeah...I don't think it's just something like flexing the muscles, they're made of light" Connie said depressed "According to Peridot my organic part will have a hard time adjusting to the transformation"

Connie presently lay beside Steven on his bed, reading the instructions.
"It looks like it's something quite complicated, right?" Steven asked, looking at Connie.
"Yeah...I don't think it's just something like flexing the muscles. They're made of light," Connie said, depressed. "According to Peridot, my organic body will have a hard time adjusting to the transformation."
"Well, I believe in you, Connie," the boy said, smiling.
"I honestly envy you sometimes because of the number of powers you inherited from your mother," she said with a smile.
"Hehe, thanks," Steven replied, blushing.
"Steven, come down for a minute!" A voice yelled from downstairs.
"I'm coming, mom. Sorry, Connie, I'll be right back." Steven left his room and went downstairs to see what his mother wanted.
"Sure, no problem," Connie said as he left. She then gave a small sigh and looked at the book with determination. The dark-haired girl walked over to a full-length mirror that Steven had provided for her room. She opened the book's directions and read them carefully. Then, closing the book, she threw it to the floor, spread her hands, and took a long breath.
The blue gem on her chest began to glow in a light blue tone, the light rapidly expanding through her extremities until it completely covered her entire body.
Finally, she was transforming! And she is transforming into...
