The store is closed

The three of you get to the store. There's a sign on the door that the store is closed for vacation and won't reopen for 2 weeks. You say, “I'm going to be like this for 2 weeks.”

Lizzy says, “At most. We can read the book. I just wanted to make sure. They might be more sure of how to reverse this, but we can figure it out. There also might be just a time limit to the spell.”

Melina says, “He can stay at my place.”

Lizzy says, “I know you like-like him. However, if he is restored, especially at night, you'll have some explaining to your parents. My parents are away on vacation for a couple of weeks and I'm supposed to babysit Matt. You could sleep over. If your parents object to staying at your boyfriend's house, you can tell them you are staying in my room.”

Melina says, “You are smart.”

Lizzy says, “I've done a lot of fooling my parents. They are good parents, but sometimes you have to fool them.”

The three of you go home.
