As you think another fish takes the iniative

In the ocean, time stops for no creature. While you’re pondering whether or not this little mermaid should be eaten a different fish makes the call, casually swimming over with its gaping mouth open wide and easily swallowing the morsel whole. The fish gives you a bored look, and you can see the mermaids cramped form compressed inside the fishy stomach.
