"I would love to live something like this* She said closing her eyes imagining herself as the heroine of the book she just finished. "Marco!" She sighed hugging her pillow laying on the bed.
Emily was an average girl with an average life. She never complain of her life, but sometimes she just felt a little bored. Most of her time was spent at the school and her little free time between friends and her books. Nothing really change.
She walked to her boudoir and observed herself in the mirror. She was cute whit her long, curly brunet hair. She wore a little pair of glasses that frame her kindly honey eyes. She was curious of what would be of her with a different kind of life. What kind of adventures, mysteries, and romances she might live. Romances, eh? She pressed her finger on her strawberry lips and then on the mirrored image of them.
Emily closed her eyes and sighed again. What was she thinking? She look the mirror again and got surprised noticing that her reflection wasn't a mirrored image of her.
"Do you really want experience the adventures of which you have read of?" The mirrored Emily asked from behind the glass smiling.
The girl didn't know what to say. She gulped. What was occurring there? Was she dreaming? What?
Emily was silently nervous looking at her reflection which was smiling her waiting for her answer.
The girl breathed deeply and gained courage to answer honestly. "Yes, I do really want to have my own adventure." Said as firmly as her fear let her.
Her reflection giggled. "Then, when you wake up tomorrow, your wish will be granted."
"Just like that?"
"Yes." The image confirmed. "But I warning you that it will be just a glimpse. And when it ends it would be as if it had been just a dream." She smiled.
"Not exactly, but nearly." The mirror Emily giggled. "So what kind of adventure would you like to live?"
