May jumps offboard, she has to take the chance!

May gets to the edge of the ship, she looks at the water and the distance between the ship and the nearest beach. She then looks back at the main deck, with all its people turned hybrid. May grabs one of the pokeballs from inside her backpack and throws it "Warturtle help me!"
The turtle pokemon appears confused with his trainer's new appearence but then May grabs him and yells "please take me to the shore!", then she jumps off the ship.
Warturtle is quite the fast swimmer even with May holding on him, and after a few minutes they reach the shores of what seemed to be an abandonned beach.
May looked around, after recalling her Warturtle. Beachouses, docks and even a small port, but no one in sight. Then, May notices a large outdoor with "Welcome to Sandgem Town Beach, have a nice day!" written in big and legible letters.
"Yeah...it seems that I made it to Sandgem...I hope I can find some help...maybe Ash is around." With that, May started to look around the beach for signs of anyone .
After some time walking, may hear someone shouting "hey!"
