Same boring school, same boring class, new student

"Can you believe it, it's our last year of high school!" exclaimed Kyle as he came around and wrapped his arms around Johnny. Kyle is a few inches taller than Johnny and has short blond hair.
"I know, then we can get out of this small town and join the real world," Johnny muttered thinking about how college will be so much more accepting about his sexuality and how he could escape how jock focused the school was.
"You'll miss it," Kyle states with a smile as they made their way down the hallway to their first class.
"Aspects of it, maybe," Johnny agrees and walks into the classroom to see the usual familiar faces. Almost everyone in the room had been together since Kindergarten with only a few exceptions. Johnny has seen shy little 5 year olds turn into bitchy cheerleaders or aggressive jocks while he felt like he was still far behind in the growth department.
"What do you think will be the toughest class?" Kyle asked as they took their seats next to each other and looked over their schedules.
"I don't know, chemistry has always been tough with all the chemical names for me," Johnny admits.
"Yeah, I think Math is going to..."
Suddenly the world seemed to go in slow motion and everything lost focus as Johnny saw a new kid walk into class. He was absolutely stunned as he saw that that the new student was...
