Peter, when he first began the program, bought a 747 and began having it refit to very specific designs. It now boasts an enormous bedroom, a freight lift system, three commercial kitchens and a pantry to match the five enormous appetites on board, and a state of the art exercise facility, though the latter's only been used by one man. It has a dedicated crew who live on the plane. It can refuel in mid-air, and rarely needs to land, but often does so in whatever destination Peter has chosen for his program to go. Peter also has smaller chartered jets to take his team to more remote destinations.
He likes to surprise his boys both by his knowledge of foreign language and foreign cuisine. The interns in the program often don't know what country they're about to eat in.
The plane makes a stop in Indiana to pickup Daniel, the newest recruit. Daniel knows about Peter's program only through the web, which is up front about the gaining, but doesn't include pictures of much of anything except food. Even though he's been picked up by a limo driver, Daniel expects to be boarding a normal plane. Daniel is surprised, then, when the limo driver goes past the departures gate and waives a pass at the guard booth at the runway entrance. He drives directly out to a private hangar, and underneath a 747. The driver calls on the radio.
"We have arrived."
From above them, Daniel hears mechanical noises. He looks through the tinted sunroof and can see a large platform descending from the plane. The driver gets out of the car, and Daniel moves to do the same, but the door is locked. He realizes that the driver is getting it for him.
'What am I getting myself into?' he thinks. They exit the car and the driver escorts him to the lift. The platform is huge, and he sees a sign saying it is rated for 10,000 lbs.
"The whole limo could fit on this thing!"
"It does, from time to time," says the driver.
The driver is clearly not used to clients talking to him, but smiles gently at how impressed Daniel is.
The lift begins to go up into the plane. Daniel sees that the driver is right, and even sees where the limo can park inside the plane. The platform they are on detaches from the outer hull and begins to move forward along the plane. It passes pallets full of food, an open commercial kitchen and finally slips into place in a luxurious front cabin with an enormous dining table and only five chairs. The ceiling was higher than in most normal rooms, and the plane itself had much larger than normal windows.
The driver guides Daniel to a seat at the table and tells him that someone will be with him in a moment, he is just going to get the limo. After a minute of waiting at the table, the door across the room opens and...
