Matthew and Ken don't remember exactly when they met, but it was a long time ago. They grew up close together and their parents were friends, which made things a little easier when coming out to each other first. Their physical paths diverged a bit in college, when Matthew decided that being a bear was right for him, while Ken exercised and opted for hair removal.
