In a wing apparently full of fit, trim and tall guys both William and Jack find their type fulfilled by only one man: Greg Dresden. Between them in height but way above them in weight, Greg seems to be everything the guys are looking for in a man. They go to help him move in but find that what few things he has are already in place and he's reading an old and dusty book on his bed. Seeing an opportunity, Jack makes the first move.
"Hey."
Greg looks up from his book, but does not look highly comitted to the conversation. "Oh. Hey."
Jack is undeterred and comes forward for a handshake. "I'm Jack."
William can tell from across the room that Jack's handshake is direct and possessive. He can tell this by Greg's confused glance down at his hand, then at Jack, then at William, apparently looking for answers. William decides to play it cool from the doorway. "I'm William."
Greg remembers that it is now his turn to say something. "Greg."
Jack hops onto William's bed and asks "what are you reading?"
"Um... Old poetry. Some really old stuff."
"Really? Are you an English major?"
"No, History. It's really old stuff. Before English even existed."
"So you're reading for class... on move-in day?"
"It's not exactly for class."
"So you're reading Ancient Poetry for pleasure."
"More or less."
Greg still has his finger in the book and it is incredibly apparent to William, if not to Jack, that he would like to get back to reading it. Jack, however, seems to do nothing but advance. He puts his hand close on Greg's thigh, which finally gets a real reaction out of him. Greg...
