Chapter #7At school by: BeeJay   Now, you'd think that waking up on the ceiling would be hands-down winner for Weirdest Thing to Happen Today. However, once I got to school, I found that it would have a lot of competition.
For a start, one of the first people I saw in the schoolyard was Alyssa Vance. Now, I've known Lyssa for a couple of years. We're not great friends or anything, but I know a few things about her. The thing is, up until a couple years ago, she was a boy. Then, at the start of junior high, she showed up in a skirt and longer hair. She told me once that she was taking different pills to suppress male hormones and stimulate female, but she still looked like a long-haired boy with tiny boobs.
Today, though, she looked like a regular girl. Her facial structure was different, she needed at least a B cup, and she had curves. I was starting to get turned on. How did she get that way? I didn't think any doctors would do that kind of work on a teenager.
She met up with Garth Jones, and then the next weird thing happened: Cait Spencer showed up. Normally, Caitlin Spencer was in the running for Snob of the Year. Today, though, she walked up to Garth and Lyssa and started talking with them. When did they get so chummy?
I couldn't ponder that mystery too long, though, because Trish Wilson (one of Cait's nicer friends) screamed. When I turned to look, I saw two wolves charging at the kids. Garth and Lyssa started herding everybody inside, then Garth stayed outside to deal with the wolves. Don't ask me what he planned to do against wild animals. I had thought Lyssa was inside, too, but she wasn't where I thought I'd seen her, so I figured I'd imagined it.
Eventually, Garth and Lyssa came back inside. Then he surprised her (and everybody else, me included) by kissing her full on the mouth. Once she recovered from that surprise, he kissed her again. A lot of kids cheered. Me, I couldn't help wondering how weird the day was going to get.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
