"Okay, put your feet up on the bench" Evan said. "I'm like a massage expert"
Josh shrugged, and kicked off his slides. He moved his feet right next to Evan's leg.
Evan didn't waste any time. He went right for Josh's left foot. Josh flinched.
"Yeah that's the one that hurts. Just don't make it worse."
"Not a chance. Let the expert work." Evan admired the perfect foot. "Your feet are so tan, dude"
"Yeah, that's cause I surf all the time" Josh answered. He was more relaxed.
"Really? Thats so cool. I bet you go barefoot like all the time."
Josh laughed. "Dude I almost never wear shoes."
Evan actually picked up the kid's foot to get a closer look. "I would think your feet are super tough then, but theyre soft!"
"A little too soft maybe. I banged this foot on a rock" he wiggled his toes "And it hurts real bad"
"Not for long" Evan smiled, working his magic hands. The surfer boy's feet were amazing.
"Oh wow. That does feel good". Josh nodded slowly. "I think you fixed it"
Josh lowered his foot to the ground and bounced on it.
"Amazing! Thanks man!" he reached for his slides.
"Hold up" Evan interrupted "You can't just massage one foot. Its a rule."
"That so? Okay then" the boy put his other foot right in Evan's lap, who flinched cause he didn't expect it.
Evan went to work right away. It almost seemed like Josh was enjoying it too much. Evan must have tickled Josh a bit, and his toes clamped on Evan's fingers.
"Dude, your toes are like super strong"
"Yeah? I guess thats from gripping my surfboard all the time. And walking in sand gives you muslces too."
Josh was looking right into Evan's eyes. He definitely wanted to ask something.
"What is it?" Evan asked
"I don't want to sound mean, but are you like into peoples feet?"
Evan almost panicked. Josh had figured him out.
