Sam is Sold

"Excuse me miss, but I would like to buy that bread box," you heard a female customer say. She sounded about 24, and she was trying to be as polite as possible. The clerk had then made up her mind that what she saw wasn't real, and that she had to carry on with her job as usual. Sam tried to stand up and tell her not to leave him, but it didn't work and the box was closed. Then the clerk gave the box to the 24 year old, who paid for it and took it to their apartment.

When the bread box was opened again, the woman began to place breads in it. Through all the grains being stacked on top of him, Sam peered through and saw the woman who had unintentionally captured him:
