Tammy was in the hospital!

I am the nurse for Tammy. A little about myself. I have been a nurse for seven years now. I am the single parent of a sixteen year old daughter. More on her later. I do have a gambling problem. I am in the middle of checking on Tammy’s vitals when her dad leaves the room to grab a bite to eat. He does tell me his other daughter Jenny will be here any minute.

Tammy is sleeping from the shot I gave her. My phone goes off. I answer it. It is my bookie. He is wanting his money. Like I said I have gambling problem. I owe him a lot of money. I tell him I am at work and will call him back later. What I don't know is Jenny overhead my phone call.

Just as I am about to go to my next patient, Jenny walks in and asks about her sister. I tell her she was hurt by during cheerleading practice after school. She is going to be fine. She does need to rest though. I tell her where her dad went and that I will be back to check on Tammy in a few. She thanks me.

I make my rounds and when I get back to Tammy's room I find her dad waiting for me. He sent Jenny home. He tells me about Jenny overhearing my phone call. To my surprise he offers to help. I
