Jack plays in another game the next day.

The next day, Jack's team was playing at bat and the team started out playing their first game at home against a tough team from up north called thee Vipers. These kids were all bigger and taller and stronger than just about all the other players on Jack's team, except for Jack, of course.

The first player came up to bat and scored a run right away and he made it to first base.

The second player came up and also got a base hit, and the first player made it to second while the other player made it to first.

The players on Jack's team got nervous and they realized that they needed some outs to get out of the inning.

The next two players got thrown out and only one more player came up for the Vipers.

The player got a hit and then the bases were loaded for the Vipers.

Jack decided it was time to get the team locked down and he called the group together. They all got together in a huddle and they realized that they needed one more out to get out of the inning. When they got back into position, they threw the last player out, and they threw the balls to third base and second base and they got all three players out!

Jack caught the ball last and he made sure he was the one, as pitcher, to throw the ball to all the bases and to throw all the players out! They tagged all of them out!

Thanks to awesome teamwork, they beat the Vipers and they advanced to the next round!
