You're not surprised to see Tim, your girl hating cousin appear from nowhere, since mom knows this is one boy you'd gladly shoot potions at. He has taunted your sisters (and you since you like girls) remorsefully for years. Tim looks at mom stunned.
"Why am I here?" Tim says alarmed. You're shocked he isn't asking 'how'.
"I'm telling John about the family secret" mom says. Tim starts to look panicked. "Which one?" he says fearfully. "There are other secrets bigger than magic!?" you think to yourself.
"You knew this day would come, Tim Towers. Both Catherine and myself discussed it extensively You won't be able to hide it for too much longer. Hayley will already be able to detect it if you allow her to, and Mel is less than a year away. Your own sister will be able to detect it soon as well"
"Please. Don't tell him" Tim pleads. Mom shakes her head. Within seconds Catherine appears out of nowhere too, and gives a small nod to mom.
"Tim" Catherine orders sternly.
