You decided that if Hayley and Mel were not talking, mom would certainly not tell you anything either. Hannah was your best bet to find out what was going on. You doubted that Hannah was the witch, if she were, she would have tried to hit you with a spell by now. Unknown to you, Hannah could not wait to try magic on you but mom made it clear that any attempt before the truth was revealed would mean trouble for her. You knocked on her door, not hearing anything unusual but you were taken back by the same response as Mel. "Who is it?"

"It's John." you said. "We need to talk."

There was a pause before Hannah opened her door just enough to look at you. "I'm working on cleaning my room." she said, defensively. "Tell mom I'll get it done."

You chuckled at that. "I'm not mom's little spy, princess." you said. "I never was."

Hannah seemed slightly relieved as she stepped out of her room, keeping you from peering inside and closed the door. "What's up?" she asked.

"First, what are you hiding?" you asked. "You have never come out of your room to talk to me, you had always asked me in to try to rope me in one of your 'dress up' games."

Hannah unsuccessfully hid a grin. "Mom told me to back off on that for a while." she replied.

You shook your head. "She's had that talk with you a dozen times." you fired back. "Again, what are you hiding?"

"What are you hiding?" countered Hannah. "You've been vanishing for hours at a time each day for a while now."

"Doing housework, princess." you replied, calmly. "I remember you calling me Cinder-fella more than once."

Hannah giggled. "I still say you'd look cute in a maid costume." she said. she then turned serious. "I'm cleaning my room and I don't want anyone to see it until its done."

"Do you know what's wrong with Mel?" you asked quickly. "Something is bothering her but she won't talk to me, neither will Hayley, is someone pestering her at school?"

Hannah hesitated. She had heard Mel crying earlier and mumbling something regarding you and guessed she was worried about you becoming a girl for good due to the 'twin thing' as mom had explained it to her. finally, she shrugged her shoulders. "I'm not sure." she replied, honesty in her voice. "I heard her mumbling something about a boy."

Hannah winced immediately after saying it, knowing how protective you were of the family. She turned pale as she saw your face turning red with anger, she knew you had gotten the wrong idea.

"Someone hurt her." you thought. "I think I know who it is, Harry and I will tear him apart!"

"Thank you, Hannah." you said, holding back your anger. "I'll take care of this."

You then walked away from her, cracking your knuckles, unaware of Hannah's panicked expression as she rushed back into her room. She picked up her cellphone mom had just given her and text Hayley... 'John thinks someone hurt Mel at school, he is mad!'

Hayley turned pale as she read the text message and rushed out to find you about to walk out the door. "Where are you going, John?" she asked, hiding her panic.

"Out." you replied, sharply. "I have to have a word with Harry."

"Harry didn't hurt Mel." said Hayley.

You paused. "So you do know what's going on." you said. "Mind sharing this time?"

Hayley looked at you and...
