You're stunned when Hayley leads you out the house, instead to mom as you expected. Instead she takes you next door. "Is she trying to show me Megan? Is it that obvious I like her?" you wonder, as Hayley knocks on the door. Megan opens it, and is delighted to see Hayley home.
"Where did you go? Its like you dropped off the planet."
"Long story. Is your mom home? John needs a physical"
"No. She just leaving the hospital now. What's going on? John looks okay"
"Long story short. I'm a witch, and thats where I was. Mom sent me away before I could tell anyone."
To your surprise, Megan completely believes it. "That's horrible!"
"She is a witch too, and thought i needed training..." Hayley explains, telling Megan everything except your own secret. "So I need to have John checked out"
"Why mom? And wouldn't yours have done this already?" Megan asks.
"Mom is a witch, not a doctor" Hayley laughs, as Dr Thompson pulls into her driveway. Hayley goes and asks if she can give you a physical.
"Why? He isn't due for another couple of months" Dr Thompson says.
"John is almost 13, and Mel needs one too" Hayley says coolly.
