You decided to question Hannah but you knew that if mom told Hannah not to tell you, she would be stubbornly tight lipped and you did not want to force anything out of her unless there was no other option. Then, you remembered Hannah mention that her ballet class was short one student to perform the recital they had always worked hard to put on every year.
"Maybe I can help her out and get her to open up a little in the process." you muttered. "I'm not keen on being a little girl, on and off for a week or more but Hannah needs help and I need answers."
The following afternoon, Hannah walked into ballet class to see everyone in better spirits than before when their instructor, Miss Swanson, (Tracey) had told them the recital may have to be canceled. "I take it you have good news today, miss?" she asked. "I could use some right now."
Tracey nodded, smiling at her class. "We received a new student today." she said, cheerfully. "She is remarkably skilled in Tai Chi, which means we will have no problems teaching her ballet and bringing her up to speed for the recital."
The class cheered and laughed, relieved that their hard work would not be wasted. "That's great!" said Hannah, happily. "Who is she? Is she here?"
Tracey stepped aside, revealing you as a seven year old girl in a ballerina costume you had your lab create. You looked at your new class, nervously but your fears were only of Hannah recognizing you. "Class, please give a warm welcome to Madeline Harris, she's visiting relatives for a while and wanted to give ballet a try."
As the class greeted you with hugs and welcome comments, Hannah looked at you, curiously. You became worried, remembering a statement in the magic book...
'Magic power is like a thumb print, you can tell who is near by merely sensing their power'
You wondered if your chaotic energy, powering your science was the same. "I hope she doesn't realize this is me." you thought with a certain chill. "I'll never hear the end of it."
