Secretly Mom doesn't like the idea of messing with your memories, as so many things can go wrong. Instead she decides to change you into someone else.

"I'll just give you a new identity, but you can't live here. Don't worry you'll be close by.." Mom says, frowning a little. She really hates this, but your protection and her daughter takes priority. You collapse into a dreamless sleep. "Good night John. I'll see you soon..."
