This choice: misses again, and Mom punishes Hannah • Go Back...Chapter #7misses again, and Mom punishes Hannah by: Runner   Fortunately Hannah's spell just misses you again, and you collaspe. "Told you I would win" you say to your now sleeping sister, but footsteps force you to snap back to the present. Mom is looking down at you, and you're not sure of her intent...
"John, I'm not pleased that you duelled with your sister, but I am more pleased that you used your abilities defensively, and made sure you didn't hit us by mistake so I will overlook you behavor." she says. "Please, John, lets continue what we started, that you give Hayley your book, so we can protect it, you and the rest of us."
You look down at your book, unsure what to do. Eventually, you hand it over to Hayley, who then walks into your lab. The lab is then sealed by spells, and you feel a bit sad by everything, but deep down you know it is the right thing.
"Okay, Since you've cooperated, I'll let you determine Hannah's punishment, John or you with your sisters, over to Megan's. Although I forbid you to reveal your secret, I'll allow your sisters to reveal theirs', but only to people I preapprove. I wonder if her reaction will be the same as Katie's twenty years ago..." Mom says with a chuckle. You wonder how Dr Thompson reacted, but you imagine well. Like your sisters, you feel shocked that she knew, but you're certain Megan knows as much about magic as you did a year ago...
"Interesting. What do I want more. To see Megan's shocked look, now knowing her mom, knows about witchcraft, (and she doesn't know it), or punish Hannah with Mom's full approval" you think, grinning.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
