It was beautiful. That was all Vanilla could think as she studied the details of the dollhouse. Her daughter's birthday was tomorrow, and she wanted an extra-special present She had found it in a strange little pawn shop across town. It was more of a miniature mansion, really, with rooms filled with furniture and decorations so realistic that Vanilla almost wanted to live there herself. If it wasn't so small, it'd be a dream home.
Vanilla carefully stored the dollhouse in her bedroom closet. She could hardly wait to see the look on Cream's face when she received her gift. But as she was about to close the closet door, a strange feeling came over her. Her body began to tingle all over, and felt like it was slowly scrunching up. Her clothes felt like they were sliding across her skirt, and the doorknob felt oddly larger in her hand. She drew her hand up to her face, and her eyes widened. Her glove was looking looser than usual...in fact, it seemed to be getting loosed by the second. "Wh...what's happening to me?" she said worriedly. As a rational adult, Vanilla wasn't prone to jump to fanciful conclusions. But there was only one answer she could think of for this...
"I'm shrinking..." Vanilla's gaze turned to the dollhouse. "...to the size of a doll."
