Still thinking this is all just one big joke, you read off the spell that is listed for changing yourself into a tiger. As soon as you hit the last word, you wince, expecting something to happen. Nothing happens, for five seconds, for ten, for fifteen. You wait a little bit longer, hoping that something happens, even though it would be completely ridiculous. Still, nothing happens.

Sighing a bit to yourself, you put the book down, and start walking away, thinking you might explore the mansion further. As you walk up the staircase, away from the book, you notice something is swelling, something is burning hot. It's...
