You leap onto the dark cable, hook your ankles around it, and half pull hand-over-hand, half slide down the cable as fast as you can. All too soon you feel a bone-jarring jolt as it crackles back to life. Your hands and ankles are blown free, but you are falling and you can’t tell how far...

You realize after falling for several seconds, that you have fallen too far. You resign yourself to imminent death and wait for the impact…

It comes in an instant, but the pain is only a brief crack as your spine is broken before you succumb to the darkness.
