Second Thoughts

Just before she could crush Mr. Grossberg by moving any further, Anna stopped. Even though she loved having control over other people and would probably kill a few of them, she felt like she'd be missing out on opportunities if she just killed her teacher right there & then. So she thought of something new.

She took her sneaker off of her shoe, then picked up Mr. Grossberg with two fingers.
"Well, I spared you for now," she said, "but let's see if you can survive in my shoe."
Then she dropped the tiny teacher into the shoe and slid it back on.
