Claire couldn't move or speak. She tried to scream to no avail. She felt as the sheet was lifted off and she heard the audience let out a collective gasp.
"You young lady, she recognized the voice of the magician, would you like to come up on stage and see for yourself?"
Claire could only stare upwards as she felt her clothes being lifted from on top of her until she was looking at Gretchen's face.
"Oh my God! Gretchen shrieked as she lifted Claire into the air, she's been turned into a doll!"
From her new vantage point Claire could see the audience gasping.
"That is all for today folks, the magician said, thanks for watching and goodnight!"
As the audience began to turn away, the magician whispered to Gretchen "Gather her things and follow me."
Gretchen was handed a bag which she promptly filled with Claire's clothes and she then turned and followed the magician back stage.
"Her eyes are moving, Gretchen began, is she conscious of whats going on?"
"Yes, no matter what I turn someone into they are completely aware of whats happening to them"
Gretchen began to play with her new toy. Moving Claire's arms and legs, all the while asking the magician questions until they reached a trailer.
They both entered and Gretchen placed Claire down on a counter top.
