A voice pierced the silence "By the gods! one of the eggs has already hatched!". It sounded foreign and unnatural, and the hatchling immediately became frightened. Soon it heard another voice, this one sounded different than the last "So? It may be a dragon, but it's just a hatchling, it's harmless. Just put it in a bag along with the rest of the eggs. And hurry! We don't want their mother to come back and catch us stealing her young!"
Then, Eric was roughly grabbed by two cold objects, and was lifted up from the ground. The hatchling's legs still hurt and felt stiff, and it could not even open it's eyes. All it could do was wriggle and squeal in a vain attempt to free itself as it was placed somewhere new. It's new containment was cold, tight and rough unlike it's previous one, which only served to further stress out the defenseless hatchling.
Afraid and confused, it listened to the outside world. It heard many new sounds, and it's containment shook around violently. No matter how hard it tried it could not crack it's prison open like it's previous one, so it resorted to curling up in a ball to keep itself warm. By now it's eyelids had rested, and it could open it, but it couldn't dare to do it out of fear.
At one point, it's kidnappers took it out of it's old prison and placed it in a new one, one lined with cold bars that prevented escape. By now the young dragon had gathered up the courage to open it's eyes for the first time. It was blinded by the light initially, but once it's eyes adjusted it realized that...
