Time stops very briefly, but resumes almost as instantly as it stops, and you blink a bit as you wonder what just happened. You briefly wonder what just happened, and looking around, you notice that almost everyone seems to have switched positions. You were now sitting where Kate had been sitting before, and notice that you now wearing her nighty. You think to yourself how cute it looked. You see that Matt now sat where your mother had been, with Kate where your father had been. Both of them wore the clothes of the parent whose seat they now occupied. In Matt's seat, Karen now sat, in Karen's seat was your father, and in your own seat was your mother. Your parents were completely oblivious to the change, while Kate, Matt, and Karen each seemed surprised, but unbothered. Next, there was Stephanie, who was now in Zack's seat, and Zack was in Amanda's, and Amanda was in Stephanie's. Like everyone else, none of them minded the change.
When they finish, your parents leave the room, both under the impression that they were you and Karen. When you hear them walk out the door, you all talk wonder what happened. "So what happened?" you ask.
"I don't know." Kate says. "But I think that maybe we might have switched lives with the PAID. For example, I think I've got my dad's life."
"So then I've got Matt's life?" Karen questions.
"Looks that way." Matt says. "While I've got the life of Liz." he says, adressing your mom by her first name.
"So, like, what do we do?" Amanda asks.
"Ooh! Can I be you for now Kate?" you ask exitedly.
"And I can be Amanda!" Zack agrees.
"Sounds fun." Karen says. "Lets pretend to be each other for now." After that, you all agree to go along and pretend to be one another for now.
