"Raven. Raven Skye," Joey Phillips was having a briefing with his partner. "We just received a few offers that you might find interesting."
Anticipating a new objective, Raven asked for the first two offers.
"How about this?" Joey explained, "There's an artifact buried in a cave in northern Alaska. It's called the Ring of Meur. It is said that it was created by the Norse God of Evil, Loki, and that it is very powerful."
"I'm listening," Raven said calmly.
"Get this. That ring is supposed to be capable of bending reality itself." The exaggeration in the tone of Joey's voice did not amuse Raven Skye. "Stay with me, Raven, stay with me. You've heard of Alexandra Johnson, haven't you?"
"Yeah, she's a famous supermodel from Ruby City. Why?"
"Well, there's been several rumors going that she used to be a he. Alexandra used to be a cop until he ran into this old hag who possessed that very ring. Using it, the old hag altered reality itself, turning him into the supermodel that we know today."
Raven laughed. "Yeah, right! And I suppose that Torrie Laursen used to be his heterosexual girlfriend?"
"Well..." Joey shrugged. "And shortly afterward, the old hag died, hiding the ring somewhere in the northern caves of Alaska."
"What else you got?" Raven asked.
"Well," Joey replied, "You know about 'Fem-Zo' don't you?"
"Yeah, Fem-Zo is an organization that focuses on genetic engineering and altering the physicality of human females. Why?"
"It is said that one of their professors, Doctor Mindman, had been working on a secret project called the 'Collapso-Ray'."
"What's that?"
"It's a device that can manipulate the particles of a human being, shrinking the target instantly!"
"No way!"
"Yeah, but the source of the device is from an ancient artifact called the Silver Stone of Size."
"And so you want me to get it back. Is that right?"
"Precisely. So, has any of these peaked your interest?"
