There seems to be only one additional question.

Question #3: You and a group of lab partners are working with a chemical that has been recently discovered, and its properties are largely unknown. One lab partner suggests only mixing it with a chemical that has been proven to not be dangerous when mixed with the newly discovered chemical. Another lab partner suggests trying something new and mixing it with a chemical that has not yet been mixed with it. What do you decide to do?

A.) Take the beaten path- It makes more sense to do something you know the results to.
