“It is nothing to worry about.” The alien said rubbing a sore spot, “Nothing some rest cannot take care of.”
“Are you sure? That was a pretty bad sounding crash.” Lindsey asked.
“Oh please, I have had worse crashes. If you had seen the crash I had on Metura Prime… Oh, you have probably never heard of Metura Prime have you?” The alien chuckled.
“Nnnnnnooo, no I haven’t.” Lindsey replied.
“Well anyway, your concern is touching but unnecessary. I just need some sleep and all will be well. As it is night here, I recommend you do the same.” The alien said before lying down in the remains of the meteor, which Lindsey now knew was her ship, and closed her eyes.
Lindsey decided that the little alien woman was right, sleep was a good idea.
Lindsey came out the next morning and was shocked to see that the alien was twice as tall as she was last night.
“You are surprised, I take it, by my growth? It seems there is a component of your atmosphere that, to my species, is a powerful growth hormone.” The alien explained sounding rather cheerful.
Lindsey felt good that the alien wasn’t hurt and was actually happy here, but why the alien was so happy would ruin her mood.
