How about someone from another country? Who's magic culture and goverment is different.
I'm talking about Ryan Carlson the protagonist from starmage academy.

He is 17 years old and an old penpal of Mr John Harrison. When he leaves the airport he ain't even gotton to the cabs when he encounters
Juan and finds himself wrapped up in the war in a country that he knows nothing about.


His appearance is short dark brown hair, narrow bright blue eyes and an often stoic face.
He wears a leather jacket with Japanese symbols on it. He also wears old nikes with blue jeans.
In terms of personalty he is a bit of a loner. However under that lies a man with strong will and morals.
