Again you clear your throat before answering. "Oh, I booked a guided hiking trip through the marshes."
And again the receptionists seems delighted, she claps her hands togehter and even jumps a bit. "That's great! Too many people just come here to enjoy our comfortable housings and the delicious food! Thankfully you won't need that room key after all." and before you could disagree, she has taken it from you. "Now please follow me, I will bring you to the tour guides."
Without further a due you follow your temporary guide deeper into the building. The trip is pretty short but more than once you wonder about the strange smells and you could have sworn that you heard even stranger sounds, mostly distorted voices, moans and screams of various types.
Eventually you enter a larger room. A few people are already waiting in here, you count roughly two dozen vacationers distributed among a number of couples, families and friends. It seems you might be the only single travelling with the group. Despite that they greet you friendly and soon you are involved in lots of smalltalk, barely noticing that the receptionist has vanished again.
Like the other humans here you get yourself something to drink while you wait and continue with the smalltalk. Apparently most of the guests arrived 10 minutes ago, as they been on the same bus to the camp but even then a few used bottles and glasses had stood around the room, so maybe someone had arrived earlier.
After another 10 minutes of waiting you get bored and decide to go looking for the people, who had waited here earlier, or for the missing tour guides. The room has no other exit, so you find yourself out on the corridor, which you had travelled just a few minutes ago.
