Tiffany gave a long, tired yawn as she clambered out of bed, the sound of her alarm clock ringing in her ears. It was time to get up for school. Tiredly, she slammed her hand down on the alarm, halting it's annoying beeping. Tiffany stood up, rubbed her eyes and began to change for school, hurriedly slipping out of her pyjamas and into a fresh pair of panties and a bra.
Tiffany took a moment to check herself out in the mirror. She was an attractive girl, with a cute, angular face and short blonde hair cropped at her shoulders. Her body had undergone some changes in the past year though...once, Tiffany had been a member of the Cheerleading squad, one of it's star members, but all that had changed last summer. Following a lazy summer, Tiffany had started to let herself go - her once slim and toned figure had begun to curve out as she spent much of the summer lounging on the couch eating junk food. Tiffany had ended up gaining about fifteen pounds, most of which went to her stomach, erasing her formerly toned abs and replacing them with the beginnings of a pot belly.
Upon returning to school, Megan, the Captain of the Cheerleading team, had seen the amount of weight Tiffany had gained and immediately cut her from the team. But Tiffany found herself not even caring; truth be told, she had grown of being on the team and the constant pressures to retain her slim figure and look good. She was glad to finally be free. But the way Megan and the other Cheerleaders had spoken to her about her recent gains had really annoyed her - what was most frustrating about the whole thing was that Tiffany hadn't even gained that much weight. It was then that Tiffany had befriended Amber and Amanda, who shared her hatred of Megan.
In fact, Tiffany was thrilled with her new body. She was no by no means fat, or overweight, but her once skinny frame had become a lot more curvaceous. She was pleased with her wider thighs, larger breasts and juicier butt. She slipped on her jeans and a purple shirt, which was a little tight across her chest and applied some make up. She switched the radio on as she worked on her eyeliner.
"And this was the eight incident this week. It seems a strange virus is sweeping across town, causing anyone who becomes infected by it to experience random and unexpected growth spurts - so far, there seems to be no pattern, and authorities assure us that this matter will be dealt with by the end of the week." Said the announcer on the radio.
Tiffany gave a worried look. "Growth spurts? God...I hope I don't catch it."
Seeing that there was only 20 minutes until school, Tiffany switched off the radio and hurried out of the house...
