This choice: Josh removes his clothes and takes a shower... • Go Back... "Crap! Crap! What the hell am I going to do?!" Josh was starting to freak out. ""That waters bound to be contaminated, and I fell right in there...did I swallow any? Oh crap...I can't remember..."
Josh was looking around, searching his surroundings for anything that might be of some assistance, when he saw the sign pointing to the men's showers. Perhaps if he got there, took a shower, and washed himself off, he could avoid any infection? It was the only option Josh had at the moment, and he made his way back around the pool to the far side of the room. Though he wanted to get there as quickly as possible, Josh was wary of falling into the pool a second time, so he made sure he was extra cautious this time.
After what seemed like an eternity, Josh finally reached the showers and hurried inside, closing the door behind him. He had a quick look around, making sure there was nobody lurking near by, and began to tear his clothes off. He hurried to remove his shirt, working so quickly to get into the shower that he ended up ripping two buttons off. He yanked his jeans down, pulled off his boxer shorts, kicked off his shoes and socks and leapt into the showers, quickly turning the pressure valve to maximum. Water poured out from every shower head, and Josh dived under the nearest one. The water was freezing cold at first, as always, but Josh didn't flinch. He endured the cold, shivering slightly as the icy water flowed down his body. Josh took a moment to admire his naked, muscled body. His physique had always been his proudest feature, and it won him the attention of a lot of the girls on campus. The thought of losing his perfect body to the expansion virus horrified him.
"Come on, come on...warm up you piece of crap!" Josh muttered angrily, doing a little jog to keep himself warm.
Finally, the water started to warm up, and Josh breathed a sigh of relief as his body temperate began to rise. Although he didn't have any soap, he made sure to completely cleanse his body in the hot water. The showers had always had a soothing effect on Josh, and being back in them reminded him of the good old days after a swimming championship, when he and team would celebrate hit the showers and go out on the town to celebrate their victory.
Josh stayed in the showers for some time, enjoying the first good shower he'd had in weeks. But he soon realised that the others would probably be expecting him back round about now, and might come looking for him if he didn't get back soon. He turned the shower off, and walked back into the changing rooms, dripping wet. He didn't have a towel, and no way was he going to use one of the towels that had been left behind - they would probably give him the virus for sure!
