They're scared of it, but it's not really as bad as Sloan the Butcher makes out. You walk into the house and go up to your room at the top of the house. You set the strange stone on the ground, ponder it for a while, then go to your bed. During the night, you are woken by a strange scraping sound. You check around the room and conclude that the sound is actually coming from inside the stone on the ground. The a hole opened in the stone and a small, yellow dragon pushed it's way out. It was around this point that you came to the conclusion that perhaps this stone wasn't really a stone. It was an egg.
