Harry Kim is calling the captain about the malf...

Harry tapped his combadge and announced "Kim to Bridge."
"Janeway here, Harry," replied the Voyager's CO, "Has Lieutenant Torres arrived safely on the planet?"
"Ummm... I believe so, Captain," stated Ensign Kim, "But nothing else did."
"What do you mean?"
"All the equipment is still on the transporter pad," he clarified, "Including her uniform."
At that, Lieutenant Tom Paris spun around in his seat at the helm and stared blankly at Janeway.
"Did I hear him right, Captain?" he asked in confusion.
"I'm certain you did, Tom; I heard him, too," she told him. She gazed at her combadge and said into it "Did B'Elanna's combadge get through?"
"I'm afraid not," replied Harry, "She's down there without anything to work with."
"Well, we need those crystals," Janeway remarks, "So we'll have to try getting down there somehow."
"Might I suggest a shuttle, Captain?" said Chakotay, "It would take a little longer, but under the present circumstances, it would probably be much safer."
"Good idea," said Janeway, "I want you and Seven of Nine to gather in the shuttle bay in ten minutes. As soon as you're ready, take the Delta Flyer and head down to the coordinates B'Elanna arrived at."
"Yes, ma'am," nodded Chakotay. He stood up and Seven of Nine followed him to the turbolift. Then Tom stood up and said "Captain, request permission to join the the away team."
Janeway looked up at him and said "Any particular reason... besides the one that comes to mind, Tom?"
Tom scoffed but then said in absolute seriousness "I took a reading of the planet's atmosphere. There's a heavy concentration of electromagnetic interference building up in the upper part. I'm not saying Chakotay is a terrible pilot, but I think it might help to have a more experienced aviator to get the Delta Flyer through all that turbulence."
Janeway sat thinking and looked over at the Security Chief, saying "Tuvok?"
"He is correct, Captain," replied the Vulcan, "It would be ideal to have a capable officer at the helm of the Delta Flyer. No offense, Commander."
"None taken, Tuvok," Chakotay remarked drily.
"Go right ahead, Tom," Janeway authorized him, "Good luck finding your wife."
"Thank you, Captain," Tom smirked as Lieutenant Ayala replaced him at the helm.
He stepped into the turbolift with Chakotay and Seven of Nine and they made their way to the shuttle bay.

Back on the planet, B'Elanna looked all around the area for something she could use to cover her more private areas. It was looking hopeless for her.
All of a sudden, three humanoid alien came out of nowhere and spoke in a language B'Elanna could not decipher.
"Who are you and what do you want?" B'Elanna shouted.
