They are clustered around the scanner in Ops.

The crew were gathered around the scanner in Ops as Kira jumped off the elevator with a cry of "Report!"

Jadzia Dax glanced up from the console. "We detected a ship of an unknown design drop from the wormhole. It warped away before we could identify it, but not before beaming something onto the station," she said, pointing to an energy reading on the screen. "We cant be sure where it beamed to but according to the Chief - "

"It's a Changeling," O'Brien said assuredly. "A transporter signature like this... it's liquid, but highly complex and coherent. I've beamed Odo around enough times to recognise it a light year away. Somebody has beamed a Changeling onto this station..."

Kira nodded grimly, tapping her badge. "Kira to security teams. Lock down Deep Space Nine. We have an intruder."
