The Voyager crew thought they had destroyed Tieran for good when they used the synaptic stimulator to force him from the body of Ameron. They were wrong. Instead, Tieran was able to jump back into Kes and take her for a host again, undetected. Even taking Kes by surprise, Tieran was able to completely overwhelm the Ocampan and force control of her body for himself permanently.
"Are you alright, Kes?" Neelix asked, holding the Ocampan.
Tieran looked down at Kes' body, then back to Neelix. "I'm fine," he smiled, "I just need...
