Everything started as normal as Ranek went out of the burrow with all his fellow meerkats to bathe in the sun, warming up their bodies again as a sudden sound took Raneks attention to it. Inquisitive as he was he left his fellow meerkats with the intention of investigating this sound. Was it a tasty grub or a hyena? Or even a lion? Carefully he sneaked up the little hill to peek for the source as...
