"Come on Tigerpaw, show me the hunting crouch!" Whined your annoying little sister. Shinekit, your sister, insisted on learning everything at the same rate as you. You had been in training for about four and a half moons while your sister was only three and a quarter moons old.
"No Shinekit, I have to go out on patrol with Fireheart."
"But you just got back from a patrol, why can't you show me?"
Grrrrrr.... you think to yourself.
"That was a hunting patrol, I have to go back out for a border patrol."
"Actually, I am relieving you of that, Tigerpaw." Said a familiar voice. Standing Directly behind you was your mentor, Fireheart. You growl inwardly. You dispised Fireheart with such a passion, that even he knew it.
"I think that you should go and have fun with her, she will be looked after when it is her time to become apprenticed. I'l make sure that she will be busy."
He looked directly at your sister when he said that last part.
"Oh, allright. I will teach you the hunting crouch, but only if you promise to leace me alone."
"Yes Tigerpaw." your sister said.
Looking back at Fireheart, "I still don't like you." You growl. Somehow, you hate him, but you have no idea why.
"May I ask why you hate me so much?" Fireheart asked kindly.
You reply burningly. "You can ask..." Then you walk off.
At the training hollow, you start to teach your sister, Shinekit how to properly stalk a mouse.
"You have to lean down and put your weight on your haunches. then walk slowly towards the mouse."
Then, while you were teaching her, you hear a rustling sound. You pause to smell the air. An enemy battle patrol!
"Shinekit, run as fast as you possibly can back to camp and warn them there is an enemy invasion."
without question, she ran back to camp. As soon as her tail disappeard into the undergrowth, You are pounced on by the patrol. You may not know many battle moves, but you still fight.
