A fantasy novelist, who was in Alaska, doing first-hand studying on polar bears, planning to incorporate them into her next book in some fashion, on the basis that scientific books and movies and animals in zoos weren't enough to motivate her, when tragedy, in the form of boating accident, occurred. She has since found herself in an area similar to Alaska, with a number of Arctic creatures around, including polar bears.
Eric Roberts
