Though a nagging feeling came over him to just take and keep it to himself, but ignored it. He steadily and carefully went up the stairs to avoid any traps. He reached the top of the stairs and approached the pedestal containing the prize. He stared at it again as it seemed to slightly shimmer in the light or could it have glowed on its own? His hand slowly reached out to it then quickly snatched it from its position on the pedestal.
