The creature reached out and grabbed Skylar by the sides. He remained frozen in fear, unknowing what is to come. The creature slowly turned Skylar, to face her directly. Skylar dared to look, but he did. The creature's eyes seemed to glisten when she stared at him.
Why isn't this thing eating me? Skylar thought. I have never seen this creature, but it sure looks dangerous
Eventually, the creature walked further down the web, and finally placed Skylar down. She released her grip, but Skylar still remained frozen. The creature looked at him worryingly. Finally, she spoke.
"Are you alright?" she asked.
It took Skylar a little, but he finally replied.
"I-I'm f-fine" he muttered. "Wh-Who...Wh-Wh-What...are...you?"
"I'm what sone might call a Dridder. A Dridder is a mythical creature that is half human, half spider. Most of them eat humans as well."
Skylar backed up a little, but the Dridder put her hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry" she said. "I'm not like that. However, I am going through some changes."
"L-Like w-what?" asked Skylar.
"Well, during my teenage years, I will experience some growth spurts. I'm not sure how big I will get, I will get pretty big. My name is Jade."
Jade stuck out her hand. Skylar slowly shook her hand, "I'm Skylar."
