Skylar's eyes were locked onto the massive creature that descended upon him. It was at least 90 feet tall, and and had the lower body of a brown spider. But, her upper body was that of a human, and a young woman at that. Her skin was pale, her breasts fair, and she had long black hair that fell along her back. As she drew closer, he looked straight into her red eyes, which glimmered with amusement. The terror of seeing something like this was paralyzing, he couldn't move. He wanted to scream, but his throat was frozen too. She finally reached him, and reached down to grab him. His heart rate shot up as he saw the giant palm coming towards him. It seemed to grow bigger as it took up his entie field of vision. She gently curled her fingers around him and picked him off the web, leaving only his head exposed from her hand. She gave a gentle smile and spoke.
"Hello there little human, are you alright?" Her voice was soothing, but he was still terrified of her.
"I-I-I-I'm f-f-fine...w-w-w-what are y-you?"
"Me? I'm a dridder, and my name is Marie. What about you?"
"Skylar..."
"You got lucky little guy, if you ended up in any other web you probably would have been dead. Most dridders eat humans on the spot." That sent shivers up his spine. These giant creatures ate humans...but she didn't.
"S-s-so...you don't want to eat me?"
"Nope!"
"Then...you don't like their taste?"
