Elena was dropped off at her new school a little late due to Ruby getting nervous that morning about what everyone would think about her. She ran to the entrance and was led by a man from the office to her new classroom. He knocked on the door before opening it, pushing Elena in front of him.
"Oh, hello. You must be Elena," the new teacher said, beaming at her, "I''m your teacher for this year, Mrs Hathaway." Elena smiled lightly at Mrs Hathaway then looked at the class, all staring at her. She turned back to Mrs Hathaway and nodded. "Now let me see," Mrs Hathaway began, walking to her desk and through her attendance sheet, "Kyle can show you around the school this week. Stand up please Kyle."
A small boy at the back of the classroom stood up shakily. It was obvious he was nervous. He had light brown hair that was quite long and wavy and deep blue eyes.
