Kalie was seated at the table eating her large supper of steak, mashed potatoes and mac n, cheese. Her parents actually served larger porrtions ten normal, so to speak. Next to her were two other plates of partially eatin food. These were the left-overs of her two sisters meals. All three girls had already devoured two super-sized servings of supper however, her sisters were just two full to continue, and left without finishing. Kalie however planned to finish not just hers but her sisters meals also.
While Kalie was eating her mother entered the room with a large glass of soda. She smiled when she saw her daughter hungrily stuffing herself with potatoes and meat. She placed the soda next to Kalie and knelt beside her. "Aw my poor baby, you must be starving" said her mom with a pitying voice. Kalie nodded since her mouth was full. Her mom hugged her and stude up. You just wait sweetie mommy will make some more for you. The five year old swalloed and replies, "Thank you mommy"
Her mother smiled and went to cook more food for her growing daughter.
